Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins is known for his volatile attitude. On Tuesday night he picked up his league-leading 17th technical foul after shoving Gerald Henderson during the Kings 115-107 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
Henderson baited Cousins with a little bump and DeMarcus reacted with a big shove. Henderson sold the shove and Cousins has a reputation so the technical was expected.
Cousins previously served a one-game suspension after picking up his 16th technical foul; if he receives another one, he will be suspended again. The Kings only have four games left in the season and are totally out of playoff contention, so it wouldn’t mean much to anyone at this point.
