One of the major questions everyone has had throughout this D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young situation is HOW the video got released and into the hands of a gossip blog. Well apparently Russell recorded it on Snapchat as a prank and thought no one would see it.
Lakers Insider Kevin Ding says Russell and Young were pranking each other and D’Angelo thought he could post it and take it down really quickly without anyone seeing it.
A word of advice to everyone: NOTHING is ever deleted from the internet.
Some reports say Russell DM’d the video to a few people and somebody sent it to the media. Other reports say his account was hacked. Whatever the story is, it just wasn’t a smart move to record it in the first place.
