Donald Trump’s campaign manager is now facing misdemeanor battery charges after assaulting a reporter in Florida. Corey Lewandowski will have to appear in court to face the charge in which former Breitbart reporter, Michelle Fields is accusing him of grabbing her.
Lewandowski is seen in a video trying to grab Fields away from speaking with Trump. She tweeted a picture of a bruise on her arm. Lewandowski denied ever touching her saying she is crazy. Trump released a statement saying,
“Mr. Lewandowski is absolutely innocent of this charge. He will enter a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court. He is completely confident that he will be exonerated.”
