Earlier this week, Noreaga, or N.O.R.E. (whichever you prefer) told a hilarious story on the Rap Radar podcast with Elliot Wilson and B. Dot about the time Michael Jordan hurt his heart. He went on to say how MJ was at a Def Jam Christmas party years ago and rappers such as Redman, Method Man and himself wanted to meet the GOAT. According to N.O.R.E though, the feeling wasn’t mutual as Jordan was heard saying “fuck rap”, which is something Michael and his reps are denying ever happened.

He claimed the only person from the hip hop world that Jordan spoke to was Jay-Z. While the story is pretty damn funny, it is kinda messed up on Jordan’s part if true.
But MJ’s rep, Estee Portnoy, says it’s just not true — telling TMZ Sports, “MJ wasn’t at this party, doesn’t know N.O.R.E., and is a fan of ALL music.”
She adds, “Drake is in his brand, and Nelly is a partner of his with the Charlotte Hornets.”
In case you missed what N.O.R.E. said, check it out here.
It wouldn’t be the first time a rapper told a story about Jordan that made it seem he wasn’t a fan of the hip hop community. Remember H-Town rapper Chamillionaire? He had his own interesting story about how MJ completely dissed him years ago.
The hip hop community worships MJ as if he is a God, so I hope he has some type of love in return.
