In a Noisey interview back in December, Sir Elton John reveled that he’s a fan of Atlanta rapper Young Thug. He praised Thugga saying, “I love all of that, it’s unexpected.” More recently Elton John and Young Thug had a meeting via FaceTime that resulted in Thugga receiving the instrumentals and rapping over John’s 1972 hit “Rocket Man.” There’s been a lot talk of a collaboration cooking up between the unlikely pair on the way and it now seems it could be happening.
Tuesday, Young Thug posted two photos via Instagram of himself hanging out with Sir Elton John. The two meet up in Atlanta and Elton John can be seen rocking some dope Young Thug merch. Stay tuned for more details….
