Today (March 23), the hip-hop community lost a legend. A Tribe Called Quest co-founder Phife Dawg passed away from complications of diabetes at the age of 45. In honor of the legendary emcee, one Atlanta traffic reporter did his part to pay his respects. WSB-TV’s reporter Mark Arum managed to report the morning traffic and incorporate several Phife Dawg lyrics in the report.

He could be heard saying “Now here’s a funky introduction to how nice I am, tell your mother, tell your father, send a telegram.” Arum and anchor, Fred Blankenship, proceeded to go back and forth with the word play making the traffic report one to remember, proving Phife Dawg’s legacy will be one to live on forever.
