Comedian and actor, Kevin Hart will soon be able to add author to his resume as he announced Wednesday, he’s working on a memoir. The book will zero in on how Hart has been able to overcome obstacles and setbacks he’s experienced in his life — including from growing up with a father battling a drug addiction, his early career, family, divorce and more.
In a press release Dawn Davis, vice president and publisher, of Atria Publishing Group described ‘From the Hart’ as “an anecdote-filled, inspirational memoir.” While Hart told The New York Times, “My kids know I’m a big deal. They’re very aware. I let them know every day, I say, ‘Look, daddy’s a big deal.’ Now I’ll have a book to prove it.”
Hart’s forthcoming memoir will be published under the 37 Ink Imprint and will be available for purchase on Father’s Day in 2017.
