Earlier today I posted a video of Glenn Robinson offering to set up an MMA style cage match to fight Stephen A. Smith to solve and end their beef.  Today on ESPN’s First Take, Smith addressed the comments and declined the fight.

Smith apologized for making the comments about Robinson, noting that Glenn hasn’t played in a long time and there was no need to bring his name up and their decade old feud.  He did however stick by the claim he made as the truth and that he and Robinson will always despise each other.

Smith says “the street in me” wanted to handle it one way but the “grown man” in him convinced him to go another direction.

This is a wise decision Mr. Smith.
