Larry Lyttle, the guy who put Judge Judy on TV has just hatched his next big idea. According to reports, Alaska’s former Governor Sarah Palin is on track to be the next Judge Judy after landing a deal for a TV courtroom show. Lyttle revealed over the next few months he’ll begin shooting the pilot with Palin and then try to sell the show in syndication for launch in September 2017.
There’s just one catch – unlike the real Judge Judy and other TV judge Joe Brown, put on by Lyttle, Palin does not have an actual law degree. However, Lyttle who’s been producing for over 20 years doesn’t think it will matter as Palin will be presiding over “the courtroom of common sense.” He also added she has some experience from her last gig saying, “She’s appointed judges and is well equipped as a former governor to preside over cases.”
