When the Miami Dolphins cut cornerback Brent Grimes some people assumed it was because they didn’t want to pay him extra money, many others however alluded that it was because of his outspoken and controversial wife Miko.

Miko has openly spoken out against the shady dealings of the NFL, trashed Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill and was arrested outside a Dolphins tailgate for battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, speaking to the media at the NFL owners meetings, had this to say about the decision to release Grimes and Miko’s constant trashing of the team:

“I think everybody knows what she represented. I thought it was best that the Dolphins move on from Brent and Miko.”

Brent Grimes has since signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and they are reportedly not worried about Miko.
