After saying he cant wait until the ‘death of rap,’ Gene Simmons is under the hot seat. Talib Kweli responded to the comments that were made and lets just say he wasn’t too happy.
Simmons tweeted,
Apparently pointing out that everything is cyclical – even music – is “controversial”. People are very easily offended.
Kweli responds back saying,
Pointing out everything is “cyclical” is different than “looking forward” to things dying. Do better Gene.
Kweli’s initial tweet that probably triggered Simmons to tweet was,
Would it be unfair of me to say I’m looking forward to the death @genesimmons or nah? Chuck Berry shits on Kiss.
