Tupac’s mother is divorcing her husband of 12 years. According to TMZ reports, Afeni Shakur and Gust Davis have been separated for more than a year and Shakur recently filed for divorce. The couple does not have a pre-nup and Davis is gunning for parts of the Tupac estate in the settlement.
Shakur filed for divorce in North Carolina and the judge will be dividing up their assets based on fairness. The couple has a lot of property including a 50 acre ranch, houseboats, and a Jaguar not to mention the Tupac estate rakes in about $900,000 a year.
Davis has filed for rights to live on the ranch, keys to houseboat, he wants to keep his sweet ride, as well as $10,000 a month in alimony for the rest of his life.
So far no decisions have been made, but Afeni Shakur has filed to dismiss Davis’ alimony request. Stay tuned for details.
