During a recent interview, Fabolous to a chance to sit down and talk about working with New York rapers such as Jadakiss and Troy Ave.
When speaking on Jadakiss, Fab says,
“Oh yeah man, me and Jada, he just came to my party out at CIAA in Charlotte and we was talking about doing a couple things and one was to do a mixtape. I wanna do a mixtape, but we’re gonna go through iTunes too.”
The project will also be available through Tidal just because of Fab’s ties with the Roc Nation crew.
“Tidal is the family so we gotta do Tidal too.”
Fab then got a chance to touch base on his relationship with Troy Ave.
“I worked with Troy Ave because I met him in the streets. We built our relationship from there. I didn’t know he rapped. I just met him and we clicked and he came out of nowhere saying he rapped and I was like, ‘man what?’”
He was asked his thoughts on the whole Troy Ave and Joey Badass beef in which he replied,
“I don’t know all the specifics. It’s a competitive sport man, when people throw shots at you, you have to expect a reply.”
Can’t say he lied ! Fab was stating all facts,
