‘Panda’ rapper Desiigner, who was just signed to Kanye West’s ‘G.O.O.D. Music’ has been compared to Future numerous times. While at first it was all fine and dandy, the rapper is now getting tired of the comparisons. While on stage at a performance, Desiigner told the crowd that he is not Future.
While at SxSW, Desiigner performed his new song ‘Pluto’ which is also the name of one of Future’s albums. When recently speaking with Complex, Desiigner said,
“God gave him a blessing, but he gave me a blessing too. I ain’t gonna doubt the man’s music. He make beautiful music too. Music is made every day. Big ups to him, big ups to Future.”
Many people are accusing Desiigner of stealing Future’s sound by sounding like him but Desiigner says that is not the case. He did shout out Future at the performance though. There is not hostility between the two, they just want to keep their styles separate. Nothing wrong with that.
