Looks like Starbucks is facing a lawsuit. People are claiming that Starbucks under fills their drinks. As a customer who frequently gets coffee from them, I must say this is quite accurate.
When ordering your Stacks drink, you ca either get a 12, 16 and 20 ounce cup of whatever drink you choose. Those drinks are under filled by 25%. That is a lot! Being that their prices are so expensive, you would think you are getting what you pay for.
In the suit, they admit that sometimes the milk foam on top gets to the rim but they also say that
“In the food science community, as well as in the weights and measures community, foam is not measured on a volumetric basis.”
So technically this means foam amounts to nothing!
