People are forever finding new ways to incorporate marijuana into things. We know there’s weed brownies and things that go on the edible side of things. There will now be weed-infused Vodka. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.
Humboldt Distillery, which is a California based distillery, has been selling organic Vodka for about 2 years. The company has now decided to add a new flavor to their liquor. Abe Stevens did a press conference and released a statement.
“That obviously wouldn’t be legal for us to do, but I couldn’t ignore the consumer demand. My solution was to come up with a compromise that captures a bit of that character without breaking any laws.”
To get around the illegal end of things, the company will use legal food-grade hemp with a THC content of less than 0.3 percent. Stevens says,
“Humboldt’s Finest doesn’t have the THC that you’d find in marijuana, so it’s not going to get anyone in trouble with the law. It does, however, retain an herbal and aromatic quality reminiscent of fresh cannabis.”
Interesting. Im really dying to know what this taste’s like. The press conference says the Vodka
“begins with a unique botanical aroma and ends with a smooth finish. With its appealing herbal character, the cannabis-infused vodka is ideal as a neutral base for today’s innovative, specialty cocktails.”
The Vodka will only be available in California and Colorado. So if you’re trying to taste weed-infused Vodka, book that flight.
