Not sure if it was just the emotions of the night or if he and Kyrie had a deep talk but Kobe Bryant was clearly trying to hold back tears as he walked off the court after talking with Irving. For a game with not much meaning, it turned out to be an intense, emotional night for the Black Mamba as he battled for the last time against Lebron.

The Cavs got the win but this night was bigger than that. It was about seeing two future Hall of Famers in Kobe & Bron go at it and give the fans what they wanted.
Kobe dropped 26 and had a few highlight reel plays against King James, who was not to be outdone with a few memorable plays of his own.
After the game, Kobe & Kyrie talked for a moment, which led to Kobe walking off with tears in his eyes. If he needed something to make him smile, all he had to do was hear Lebron’s favorite memory of him which was related to the 2008 Olympic team.

That 2008 team was pretty epic and they definitely restored the order in the world of basketball and Kobe was definitely the reason for that. Everyone will have their own favorite memory of Kobe but the good thing is there are countless moments to choose from.
