These Trump rallies are out of control. Another black protestor has been attacked at Donald Trump’s rally. This event took place in North Carolina. These protestors were not being violent during the protest. They were being escorted out when a Trump supporter punches one in the face. Unfortunalty, this is not the first time we’ve seen this behavior at a Trump rally.
Rakeem Jones was the man that was attacked. The white supporter was not confirmed. Jones says the police jumped on him as if he was the one who threw a punch.
“It’s happening at all these rallies now and they’re letting it ride. The police jumped on me like I was the one swinging.”
He says that he is shocked because he “basically in police custody and got hit.” Meanwhile there were no consequences for the man who hit Jones. He says his group included “a white woman, a Muslim, and a gay man.” His group started shouting once the rally started but they were not physical. In a interview, Trump encouraged the behavior saying,
“Maybe he should have been roughed up because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.”
