With the help of British Broadcasting Company (BBC), there will be a Whitney Houston biopic coming to our screens soon. Exciting! Nick Broomfield will be the director of the biopic which will be called ‘Whitney.’
The network says this biopic “goes in search of the forces that made and then destroyed the singer who has been described as having one of the greatest voices of the last 50 years.” The movie will probably include Whitney’s battle with using cocaine. So it will definitely go more in debt than the Angela Bassett biopic that premiered on Lifetime. The movie will premiere on BBC2. There is no set release date as of yet.
