The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s testing revealed Bobbi Kristina has died from: “Immersion of face in water complicating mixed drug intoxication.” The drugs that were found in her system were marijuana, alcohol, a cocaine-related substance called benzoylecgonine, benzodiazepines (prescription anti-anxiety meds) and morphine. The medical examiner could not identify if the morphine was related to heroine use.
The autopsy report listed the full cause of death as pneumonia and encephalopathy due to her lungs being filled with water and ultimately injuring her brain. She had been submerged in her bathtub on January 31, 2015 and was later taken off life support on July 26. She passed at a hospice in Georgia, at the age of 22 years young. Rest in peace.
