Donald Trump held a rally at Valdosta State University Monday (Febrary 29th) where a group of about 30 black students were kicked out. According to reports by USA TODAY, the students who were standing at the top of the bleachers were escorted out by Secret Service agents who said the presidential candidate had requested their removal before he began speaking.

Tearful students explained the incident to the cameras, “I think we got kicked out because we’re a group of black people– what’s going on in America, they’re afraid we’re going to say something or do something.” She continued, “We just really wanted to watch the rally and to get kicked out because we’re a group of black people is crazy. It shows you how racist our own school is.”
Trump spokesperson Hope Hicks released a statement following the incident saying “There is no truth to this whatsoever.” However, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard stories like these following Trump rallies. Earlier this week, we reported Trump had one attendee removed who was holding a #BlackLivesMatter sign.
