A$AP Rocky goes into what happened during the elevator fight in New Zealand that saw someone arrested and another hospitalized. A$AP was perfectly fine and now gives a little inside to what really went down.

During an interview with the AP, A$AP says what happened is different from what’s been reported.
Initial reports said Rocky, who was in the elevator with some ladies, told three men they couldn’t enter, so the men forced their way in and started punching A$AP. Rocky explains he was in the elevator with the girls, but also his security. One man tried to force his way in, which lead to a “fist exchange.”
Rocky told the AP by phone:
“The girls were fine. They were OK. No scratches on the ladies. Everybody is fine.”
“We didn’t press no charges on nobody. They didn’t press any charges on us. Everybody good. I don’t understand why people are making a big deal out of it.”
A$AP may be downplaying things a little. Police arrested a 35-year old man, an officer was slightly injured in the incident, and one person was hospitalized. He responded to the reports of the scuffle with a tweet, brushing off the incident by saying:
“ASSAULTED? N*GGAS GET SHOT EVERY DAY B, HA”
“STILL PRETTY, STILL HANDSOME , STILL F*CCKIN YO B*TCH TOO.”
