Caitlyn Jenner is the new face of MAC Cosmetics and she is also making history as being the fisrt transgender to star to land a big mainstream beauty contract. The company announced thar Jenner signed their newest celebrity endorsement following in the footsteps of many celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Beauty insiders said the deal is thought to be worth at least seven figures, and will see the cosmetics company, owned by Estée Lauder, become more involved in transgender issues and causes.

Caitlyn is now the new face of MAC Cosmetics and is the first transgender to sign a major mainstream beauty contract. Last June Page Six reported that Jenner was talking to MAC, which the company denied at the time. MAC issued a statement saying
“M·A·C Cosmetics is a brand that embraces ALL AGES, ALL RACES and ALL SEXES and is a longstanding supporter of the LGBT community. We are inspired by Caitlyn Jenner, her personal journey and we admire her courage and beauty.”
it has been reported that MAC will sell a limited edition lipstick created by Caitlyn. The signature color will be called “Finally Free.” Revenue from the lipstick sales will benefit the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.
Caitlyn had first been a spokesperson as the face of Wheaties during Bruce Jenner’s days as an Olympian and now she is the new face of MAC. Last September Caitlyn revealed in a video message that was posted to her website that MAC is her favorite makeup brand.
