Hip-hop producer AraabMuzik was shot twice last night alongside his friend, in a Harlem parking garage. This is the second time Araab has faced a life and death altercation in the past few years. Hit the jump for the full story.

Araab, real name Abraham Orellana, was shot in the jaw and the right leg Thursday night in Harlem. According to a NY Daily News report, he underwent surgery due to gunshot wounds to his jaw as well as his right arm at Harlem Hospital, where he is currently recovering. A bullet also grazed his head.
His friend, James Malloy, was also shot in the right leg during the incident, and is in stable condition at St. Luke’s hospital.
The shooting took place at around 7pm at ProAmerica parking garage on W. 125th St. Orellana and Malloy were on their way to exiting the garage when two men approached the driver’s seat window. One of the suspects reportedly convinced Orellana, who was driving, that he had dropped something, tricking the producer to roll down the window. Shots were fired immediately after the window went down and the suspects fled on foot.

There are currently no suspects in the incident and we wish Araab and Malloy a successful recovery.
