Marlin Stivani Nivarlain, reaccounts her journey to Iraq. The young girl says that life there was too hard for her to handle. The girl said she traveled to Mosul in May with her boyfriend. She claims he tricked her into joining ISIS because she had no clue what was going on.
Nivarlain says,
“First it was good together, but then he started to look at ISIS videos and speak about them and stuff like that. Then he said he wanted to go to ISIS, and I said, ‘Okay, no problem,’ because I did not know what ISIS meant or what Islam was or nothing.”
She went on to say, once they got there, they were given a house to live in. The house had no electricity and no water. Not sure why being that ISIS is known to be the wealthiest terror group in the world.
Nivarlain was 15 at the time. She married her boyfriend who was 19, and the two then went off to Iraq. ISIS did not approve of the marriage and forced the girl to live apart from her husband. She was forced to live with a bunch of women. One of the women happened to have a cellphone which Nivarlain used to cake her mother and tell her she wanted to go home. She was then reduced by Kurdish forces.
