Wednesday night was a big night for the cast of “Straight Out of Compton.” They won a gush award at the All Def Movie Awards. The movie won “Best Picture.”
Ice cube alone had an awesome night! Not only did ‘Straight Out of Compton’ win an award but ‘Friday’ won ‘Most Quoted Movie.’ In addition to those two, he also won Best Black Survivor in a Movie for “Anaconda.” Yessss Cube!
‘Best Actor’ award went to Michael B. Jordan for ‘Creed.’ The ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ went to Will Smith and Norman Lear got the ‘Vanguard Award.’
Tyrese also cleared the air by saying its not the “Black Awards,” its for anyone as long as we all put the time and energy to our card. He said,
“Its not the black card, Its not the white card, its the opportunity card.”
