If you didn’t know much about Monty Williams before, yesterday you realized just how much respect and appreciation this man deserves. He had the unimaginable task of having to deliver a eulogy for his wife, Ingrid Williams, who sadly passed away after a tragic car accident last week. In front of many NBA stars and peers from around the league who came to show support, Monty stood with his head held high and did things exactly the way he said his wife would have wanted him to.

Monty said his wife wound “punch” him if he stood and complained about what happened. Instead she would want him to be strong because complaining doesn’t change things. He also spoke about having no ill will towards the Donaldson family, which was the other car involved in the crash because he said they are grieving as well.
I will let you listen for yourselves but if you don’t feel something listening to this man talk then you may want to get your soul checked.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the Williams family.
