Lamar Odom flew in a private jet with Khloe Kardashian to join the rest of her family in New York City for Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show and premiere of his new album “The Life of Pablo”.  Fans were happy to see Odom back on his feet, looking happy and healthy as he walked out with Kanye West and vibed with the Kardashian family.  But there’s one thing he reportedly failed to do while in town, visit his two children and they’re understandably hurt and upset about that.

“He didn’t see his kids when he was in NYC and the kids were upset,” an insider tells Us. “They were supposed to come out and see him, but Lamar has been embarrassed to call them and they are angry.”

Another source confirms that Odom’s two children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales — Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13 — “were very upset” about not seeing their dad.

The problem could be one of timing. The 36-year-old’s East Coast trip was very brief — he flew back to L.A. on Friday, February 12, the day after attending West’s show at Madison Square Garden with the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Doesn’t sound like a very good excuse.  The trip could’ve been extended to see them.  I know Odom loves his kids but this was definitely a bad slip up.  Khloe reportedly arranged for Morales and the kids to fly to the hospital when Odom suffered the overdose.  I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a problem to extend this trip one more day.
