Taylor Swift responds to Kanye’s comment about making her famous while she did her Grammy speech. You go Taylor, set the record straight that you got yourself where you needed to be WITHOUT Kanye.
Taylor gave her speech after receiving “Album of the Year” at the Grammy Awards for 1989. She addressed Kanye’s “I made that b-tch famous” line by saying,
“There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and know that it was you.”
