If you are one of those people who complains that the NBA dunk contest just isn’t what it used to be, well after last night you better change your tone! Even though the biggest superstar names weren’t in the contest, both Zach LaVine & Aaron Gordon put on a show that would remind you of the best dunks during all star weekend over the years.

In the end, LaVine defended his title, beating Gordon by a slim margin of 200-197 from the judges scores but there really was no loser. Gordon put on a fantastic show as well, forcing fans to think of dunks from the likes of Vince Carter, Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkins and other greats.
