Yesterday Drake received the keys to Toronto during the NBA Allstar Celebrity Game. Drake was thrilled about it. He and Mayor Tory got a chance to share a few haha’s with each other. Drizzy told the crowd, “This is one of the greatest moments of my life, if not the greatest.We have something extremely special in this place. I will never stop loving this city. I will never stop representing this city.”
During the speech, Mayor Tory tells Drake this key is not “is non-transferable, not even to Lil Wayne.”
Tory was referencing Drake’s lyrics in “Summer Sixteen” where he said,
“I might get a key to the city and give it to Wayne/Or give it to one of the young boys to carry the wave.”
