The state of Cleveland is suing the family of Tamir Rice over an unpaid ambulance bill. They are suing the family for $500 in expenses that include the ambulance’s milage. This is truly unbelievable on the state’s end.

Subodh Chandra, who happens to be represetingt the family’s civil suit released a statement saying,

“The callousness, insensitivity, and poor judgment required for the city to send a bill—its own police officers having slain 12-year-old Tamir—is breathtaking. This adds insult to homicide.”

Tamir Rice is just one of the injustices connected to the Black Lives Matter movement. Rice was shot and killed by Timothy Lehmann, just a few seconds after arriving at the scene. Police responded to a call about a boy playing with a gun that was “probably fake” which the caller said but the dispatcher never delivered that message to the responding officer. Lehmann faces no charges in this murder.

Forget a bill, the Rice family has lost their child! Does that mean anything to anyone?
