In New Hampshire during a campaign, two men tried to perform an exorcism on Ted Cruz. During the campaign, one of the men shouted out “Ted Cruz, look in the mirror and let the evil spirit depart!” Mind you the man along with his partner had a mirror and also a wooden cross. Upon hearing the men, Cruz made a Bernie Sanders joke.
One of the protestors even started to hold back his vomit because he claimed Cruz is hard to look at. He said,
“[Cruz is] very hard to be in the same room with. There’s a reason that the body is so haggard and disgusting, and the face, and it’s all so weathered and gross and hard to look at.”
Maybe these men went a little too far.
