Normally when a person breaks their arm they don’t want to do anything much less go to work. Well Thomas Davis not only went to work, he played in the biggest game of his life in one of the most physically daunting sports in the world.
Two weeks ago Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis underwent surgery to repair a broken arm. On Sunday he played like it never happened in the Carolina Panthers’ 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.
Davis compiled seven tackles, including one for loss, while not showing any aftereffects of having a plate and 11 screws inserted in his right forearm. He played with a bulky cast.
After the painful loss, Davis took to his Instagram account and posted a picture of his sewn up arm – which was probably hurting as much as the loss – and posted a message for his “brothers” and Panther Nation.
