Knicks fans rejoice! The New York Knicks have fired head coach Derek Fisher.
According to ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne, the Knicks have decided to part ways with Fisher and Kurt Rambis will be the interim coach.
Fisher led the Knicks to a 40-96 record in his first two seasons with the team.
He has been criticized for his player rotations and lack of play calling amongst other things.
Management was reportedly disappointed with the team’s performance and decided a change was needed.
The Knicks are currently on a 5-game losing streak and are 1-9 of their last ten.
