Director by Abteen Bagheri and producer Chris Black are not too enthused with Beyonce’s new music video. They believe that the film uses scenes from their 2013 New Orleans Bounce Music documentary, “The B.E.A.T.” Mannie Fresh, DJ Jubilee, Nicky Da B and other artists are in the documentary. Black goes to Twitter to call out the Queen B and her team.
Chris Black tweeted,
“New Beyonce video used hella clips from the doc I produced and directed by @abteen …but why?!?!”
Abteen followed and tweeted out,
“I’m not mad. It’s the sad reality of the music business. Doesn’t affect my friends’ and my work, but not cool.”
He then sent out another tweet thanking Beyonce for the credit but kinda sounded pretty sarcastic.
“Thanks for the credit @melinamatsoukas and @Beyonce”.
