Johnny Manziel can not be near his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley for at least two years after a judge granted an order of protection that she filed for. At the moment though that might be the least of his worries as Dallas police have changed their mind and now will investigate Manziel.

It’s unclear exactly when Crowley filed for the protective order, but WFAA in Dallas says a Tarrant County judge found reason to believe “family violence” had occurred … so the protection was necessary.
Crowley really wasn’t cooperating with police before so they decided they weren’t going to open a criminal investigation. Since then however, she has changed her mind and has told police much more and now they are in fact investigating Manziel.
Dallas PD says Crowley filed a complaint on Friday. Police have not revealed details of the report, but say they will thoroughly investigate to see if criminal charges should be filed.
