There’s been jokes before about Kobe Bryant being a player/coach but what about an actual coach? Prior to the Lakers 119-115 win over the Timberwolves, Byron Scott was asked if Kobe would make a good coach.
Would Kobe be a good coach? Byron: “No. Kobe would kill somebody.”

Kobe has been known to go off on his fellow players who don’t show the same intensity and dedication that he does. While the idea of Kobe as a coach sounds right and/or entertaining, it also might be a scary sight.
On another note, I’m sure he would be a better coach than Scott. Kobe might kill his players but I’m pretty sure the players want to kill Scott right about now…
