Drake literally dropped ‘Back To Back’ on Meek Mill…and Nicki Minaj. After the decoding of some lyrics from the music Meek Mill and Drake released simultaneously last night, we are coming to the conclusion that they were actually staying at the same Toronto hotel the night the grammy nominated diss track was unleashed. Ok so after Drake stated in his new single “Summer 16”:
“I’m just a sicko a real sicko when you get to know me, n*gga / I let the diss record drop you were standing right below me, nigga / We must have played it a hundred times, you was going to bed.”
And after Meek Mill stated in one of his new songs “War Pain”:
“Location, Toronto, status…five star hotel, Four Seasons. Them chumps right upstairs, they know not to come up here playin’ no real n*ggas. Mu, I’m still up countin’ five hundred thousand cash. Nicki in the bedroom sleep, life is good.”
The dots have connected and seems the two rival MC’s are both referring to the same night. The story goes like this…
Drake heard Meek and Nicki were staying at the Four Seasons when the “Pinkprint” tour came through Toronto, so he decided to book a room right above them with his OVO crew. They repeatedly played ‘Back To Back’ at high volumes purposely for Meek to feel their wrath, but as Meek details it he was undisturbed and slept soundly next to Nick.
Oh how the times have changed…this whole thing seems like some middle school type of beef. At least Meek is coming back at Drake…but he still has 50 to deal with.
