About 2 weeks ago, Meek Mill dropped a four-song “EP” titled 4/4. It contained 4 new songs from the Philly MC, including a remix of Drake & Future’s “I’m The Plug” cut from their collab mixtape What A Time To Be Alive, where Meek goes in at Drake. In another song called “Gave ‘Em Hope”, he went at 50 Cent. Now he plans to drop another four-track “EP”, before he drops his long awaited Dreamchasers 4 mixtape. Maybe he’s waiting so long because he’s making an official Dreamchasers album? Hit the jump.
Maybe that Jay-Z & Nas assisted song Meek says he has called “Scarface” is being saved for the next album? All speculation, but would seem like a legitimate idea. Anyway, Meek to his Instagram to let everyone know he’s planning to release more new music before DC4 sees the light of day:
“I can not wait to slide back by and set y’all straight 4 more b4 the 4”
The 4/4 EP included no features and production from C-Sick, Jahlil Beats, and others…what could we expect from the follow up “EP”?
Fun fact: Meek dropped 4/4 during an episode of Drake’s OVO Sound Radio…today there will be another episode where Drake has planned to release new music. Could the two rivals be going at each other’s necks with new music? Round 2!
