After 10 years in the NBA, Jason Maxiell went to China to continue his career and make some more money. Unfortunately things aren’t going so well for him there and during this game he just about had enough.
Maxiell’s team, the Tianjin Gold Lion have won eight games out of 34. So being officially eliminated from any playoff contention, Maxiell just wants to go home.
During a game against the Shandong Flaming Bulls, Wu Ke ran down the court and hit Maxiell in the head from behind. Maxiell threw a punch that didn’t land luckily for Wu, but he didn’t wait around for another one. Wu Ke sprinted to the other end of the court as Maxiell chased him.
Fellow former NBA player Michael Beasley was also on the opposing team and was able to calm Maxiell down.
Shandong went on to win the game 119-97.
