Sadly, events such as mass killings in public places like schools and movie theaters are not known as uncommon today. Maybe some places have them less then others but its really becoming the norm which is quite sad. Things like this are certainly less heard of in Canada but they have just experienced a school shooting that have left 4 dead and 2 injured.
The shooting occurred at Saskatchewan’s La Loche Community School. The school holds about 900 students. The building is made up on two buildings that hold from pre-k to 12th grade.Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke on the tragedy by calling it “A parents worst nightmare.” Noel Desjarlais is in the school that has the higher grades. He released a statement saying,
“I ran outside the school. There was lots of screaming. There was about six, seven shots before I got outside. I believe there was more shots by the time I did get out.”
He continued saying, his friends were yelling at him telling him to run.
“There’s a shotgun! There’s a shotgun! They were just yelling to me. And then I was hearing those shots, too. So of course I started running.”
A 23-year-old teacher was killed during a shooting. The suspect has been apprehended but his identity has not been released to the public. The shooter gunned down two of his sibling at his home and then went to the school and killed 2 more.
A 16-year-old student showed a screenshot of a message that was sent via social media. The photo showed a young man saying

“Bout to shoot ip the school.”
A friend then asked . “Why? Why?”
