Bill Cosby has just landed another legal victory as a defamation lawsuit brought up against him by one of his accusers has been thrown out.
In 2014, Renita Hill claimed Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her back in the ’80s while working on the children’s program “Picture Pages.” She filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania claiming that Cosby and his attorneys made her look like a “liar” when they released a statement regarding her accusations.
The judge in the case ruled that Cosby and his lawyer’s statements were “opinions and generalizations” about all the accusers and therefore not defamatory. This news comes after an L.A. District Attorney threw out 2 other criminal cases against Cosby.
