A few days ago, an New York cop was exposed by a Black Lives Matter protestor for making racial remarks on his Instagram page. The protestor quickly drew attention to many by showing off the horrible pictures that had many cruel remarks towards minorities and protestors posted by the law enforcement officer.
The cop posted a picture on his Instagram with a shirt praising how much he loves arresting protestors and even going to protest because they make overtime doing it. Smh, Disgusting. The protestor Keegan Stephan tweeted,
“Officer Langone of the @NYPD103Pct doesn’t think much of free speech, except of course as ‘OT’.”
He then posted another picture of a man loading guns and saying
“When you wanna pop off rounds in your neighborhood like the rest of the hood rats… but you gotta be responsible.”
The NYPD did address this behavior saying,
“Members of the service should be aware that activities on personal social media sites may be used against them to undermine their credibility as members of the Department, interfere with official police business, compromise ongoing investigations and affect their employment status with the Department.”
Since the page drew a lot of attention, the cop put his page on private. This man deserves to be fired.
