Alright … We can all agree that the $1.6 billion Powerball has made us a little crazy. You can’t say that you haven’t had the urge to spend large lump sums of money on a chance to win the lottery, but spending everything you have for a 50/50 chance? Not worth it.
A woman by the name of Cinnamon Nicole did the most when she spent all of her family’s funds on playing the Powerball. After finding out that she was not a winner, she went to GoFundMe to try and get a pity party to give her all that money back. Her explanation on the site says,
“Please help me and my family as we have [exhausted] all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash. With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this [loss] and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again!”
The site administrators were not feeling this cry for help as they deleted the request. Well that was certainly a stupid move that costed this woman and her family a big financial hole.
