The Cavs and Spurs played a great game against each other last night in what may be a preview of the NBA Finals later this season. The Spurs came out on top, winning 99-95 but there were alot of great players on the court for both sides. Perhaps the greatest of them all was Tim Duncan and after the game, Lebron James took the opportunity to recognize Duncan for his greatness and show him the ultimate respect he deserves.

With the chance that this was Bron’s final game against Duncan as he weighs retirement at the end of the season, King James went out of his way to salute Duncan.

Don’t know how many times we got left to go against one another but I’ve never have and I never will take them for granted! The consistency you’ve shown over the years goes unmatched and as a competitor it’s always a treat to be competing on the same floor as you! Being a professional(professionalism) is so overlooked in our sport but I always knew who I could look to if I ever wasn’t professional about this lovely game and that’s You. Duncan’s low key personality has possibly prevented him from being spoke of more as the best player of this era and best at his position ever but basketball fans and clearly other players know the deal.
