Craig Myczkowski, 44, is in a whole heap of troubles [possibly] following his recent actions. The mid-aged man has been charged with attempted unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child, burglary and more after he tried to distract a babysitter in an attempt to steal the child.

Nassau County Police Detective Lt. Richard LeBrun said the 65-year-old babysitter was pushing a 20-month-old in a stroller on West Broadway when a man walked up and said she was “pushing a dead baby,” according to CBS New York.

“He stopped in my way and he did not let me go,” the babysitter, Alla Alexandrova described to police. “He said absolutely terrible things”

The babysitter was able to get out of harm’s way and made it home, however, Myczkowski followed. He was able to get into a ‘mud room’ and absurdly knock on her locked kitchen door screaming, “give me the dead baby!”

While he was unable to get in, Myczkowski took the stroller that sat in the mud room, which was later found near a pizza shop.

“My cameras caught him all around,” the owner of the pizza shop told CBS2’s Andrea Grymes. “Wheeling a carriage, wrapping something up like something was in there.”

Tuesday morning, the 44-year-old man was arrested-a block away from the pizza shop-after he was found sleeping on a couch inside a doctor’s office.

“Police were able to identify defendant Myczkowski as the subject who had attempted to abduct the 20-month-old baby yesterday and he was arrested without incident at the scene.”

He will undergo a mental health test.

That man is sick.
