It was announced that Coldplay would be the halftime performers for Super Bowl 50 with Bruno Mars and that Beyonce was in talks to join them. Well now it’s official! Queen Bey will return to the Super Bowl stage.
Pepsi confirms to Entertainment Tonight that Queen Bey herself, Beyonce, will join the band on-stage during their performance at the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on Feb. 7. Presumably, the group will deliver a live rendition of”Hymn for the Weekend,” which is featured on their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, and features vocals from Bey.
“Today, it’s about how do we stage our special guests. Yesterday, what I was nervous about, it was all about the set list,” Harvey remarked.
Something tells us that Bruno and Bey aren’t the only VIPs we’ll be seeing on that stage. As ET previously reported, at least one more act is expected to join the halftime show.
Super Bowl 50 will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, airing live on CBS.
