The newly crowned champions Conor McGregor and Holly Holm are now the stars of UFC and will headline UFC 197 in two blockbuster fights.
UFC 197 pay-per-view event will be on March 5 in Las Vegas at MGM Grand Garden Arena or Mandalay Bay Events Center.
Newly crowned featherweight champion Conor McGregor (19-2) will move up in weight and challenge lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos for the 155-pound championship. In the co-main event, female bantamweight championHolly Holm will seek her first title defense against Miesha Tate (17-5).
McGregor (19-2) is coming off a 13-second knockout win over Jose Aldo for the 145-pound title at UFC 194 on Dec. 12. It set a promotional record for fastest finish in title-fight history.
A former boxing world champion, Holm upsetRonda Rousey for the 135-pound female title at UFC 193 in November. Holm won the bout via knockout in the second round with a left head kick.
