The 2016 NBA All Star game is next month and there’s just two weeks left to vote for the player you want to see. Players and teams often use high profile celebrities and other gimmicks to get votes and this effort from the Detroit Pistons for Andre Drummond is pretty funny.
The Pistons teamed up with Barack’s Dubs and created a video of Barack Obama rapping Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” while showing Andre Drummond highlights.
Drummond is currently averaging a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds per game; an All Star nod should definitely be in his future.
And now, thanks to Toronto’s own @Drake, a message from President @BarackObama … RT #NBAVote Andre Drummond https://t.co/5s0VHNI0YL
